Give Ahmedabad – Pune Duronto train stoppage to Vadodara: MP to Railway Minister

Vadodara: Lok Sabha member Ranjanben Bhatt during her meeting with Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav on December 12 made several demands for the people of her constituency in terms of Railway facilities.

Bhatt demanded the stoppage of the Ahmedabad – Pune Duronto Express train at Vadodara. She demanded that the Vadodara – Haridwar train be run permanently. She demanded fast implementation of a decision to extend the Jamnagar – Ahmedabad Vande Bharat train to Udhna in Surat with Vadodara as a stoppage on the route.

She in her representation said that the Vadodara – Haridwar train was started in May this year but later was continued in July. It was again started on 11 November for just three trips and discontinued on 25 November. She also pointed out that even after a decision has been taken to extend the Jamnagar – Ahmedabad Vande Bharat train to Udhna with Vadodara as a stoppage on the route, the decision is yet to be implemented. She also pointed out that due to a high number of students and business persons wishing to travel on the Vadodara – Pune route, Duronto Express should be given a stoppage at Vadodara. DeshGujarat
