New Delhi: After the success of Vande Bharat Express, the Indian Railways is prepared to launch Amrit Bharat Express. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to dedicate two Amrit Bharat Express trains to the country on December 30. These new India trains are ready, with the first one running from Ayodhya in UP to Darbhanga in Bihar and the second from Bengaluru to Malda.
Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw inspected the Amrit Bharat trains at New Delhi Railway Station on Monday. Ashwini Vaishnav appreciated the modern and advanced technology used in Amrit Bharat trains. He mentioned that the Amrit Bharat train is based on Push-Pull Technology.
Vaishnaw told the media that the Amrit Bharat train is very efficient in terms of speed, and due to the permanent couplers present in it, there are no jerks of any kind during the journey.

The features of the upcoming Amrit Bharat Express trains include:

Smooth Ride and Stability:
- Equipped with permanent couplers, the train will have a smoother ride with fewer shocks, contributing to the stability of the train.
Water-Efficient Design:
- The design of the train toilets minimizes water usage, promoting efficiency in resource utilization.
Maximum Speed:
- The trains are capable of operating at a maximum speed of 130 km per hour.
Fare:
- The fare for Amrit Bharat Express is expected to be only about 10 percent more than normal trains.
Make in India Program:
- The trains are built under the Make in India program, showcasing the use of advanced and modern technology manufactured within the country.
Non-Air Conditioned Coaches:
- The first two Amrit Bharat Express trains are non-air-conditioned, providing a cost-effective travel option.
Passenger Comfort:
- The trains feature cushions in the luggage berth for passengers. Every seat is equipped with charging points, and a special ramp is designed to facilitate easy entry for wheelchairs into the coach.
Coach Configuration:
- The non-AC Amrit Bharat Express will consist of 22 coaches, including 8 general second-class coaches, 12 second-class 3-tier sleeper coaches, and 2 guard compartments.
Modern Amenities:
- The trains will be equipped with modern amenities, including CCTV cameras, modern toilets, sensor water taps, and an announcement system.
Manufacturing Location:
- The Amrit Bharat Express trains are manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai.
On December 30, PM Modi will dedicate 2 Amrit Bharat Express trains along with 5 Vande Bharat trains to the country. The 5 Vande Bharat trains include Ayodhya-Anand Vihar, New Delhi-Vaishno Devi, Amritsar-New Delhi, Jalna-Mumbai, and Coimbatore-Bangalore Vande Bharat.
