Encore-Alcom to set up Rs 60 crore manufacturing plant in Surat

Surat: Encore-Alcom, a Hyderabad-based company specializing in the manufacturing of aluminum doors and windows, announced on Wednesday its plan to establish an advanced manufacturing unit in Surat with an investment of Rs 60 crore.

Spanning an area of 1.8 lakh square feet, the new facility will be the first in the country to have an auto-robotic facility for aluminum doors and windows. The plant will have a production capacity of 30,000 square feet per day, employing German technology.

Siva Koti Reddy, Founder & Chairman, and Managing Director of Encore-Alcom, remarked that their plant will be the largest facility of this kind in terms of area. The plant, set to be ready by March this year, will create employment opportunities for 180 people.

The company already has a 60,000 sq. ft. plant in Surat with a manufacturing capacity of 10,000 sq. ft. per day. DeshGujarat
