The newly opened highway is 85 km long. The permitted highest speed on this highway is 120 km/hour, however practically the average speed achieved is 90 km/hour. It takes 40 minutes time to reach Bharuch from Vadodara. If a vehicle exceeds the sped beyond 120 km/h, the camera would deduct fine from Fastag balance. The highway starts at Vasad and takes upto Dahegam where exit for Bharuch is located.
At present, the highway is free to access, but within a month or so, toll tax will be effective here.
Entry to the new highway is possible from the 1. Vadodara – Ahmedabad expressway, from Vasad and from Samiyala. Same are the exit points.
