Jamnagar gears up for Anant-Radhika’s pre-wedding; Dayro, mass meals organised

Jamnagar: Ahead of the pre-wedding function of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, a Dayro (folk music) event was organized at Nani Khavdi in Jamnagar district. Renowned Gujarati folk and Bhajan artists such as Hemant Chauhan, Bihari Hemu Gadhvi, and Lalota Ghodadra among others performed in this Dayro program.

Mass meal programs are also being held across the Jamnagar belt ahead of the pre-wedding ceremony which is going to take place from 1-3 March. Anant Ambani himself attended one such event at Navaniya village. The locals offered him a head turban and welcomed him.

A three-day event that will take place at Reliance Greens is expected to host over 4,000 people, including distinguished guests, artists, troops, vendors, and staff.

It has been learnt that around 30 airplanes have been chartered from Air India to transport guests from Mumbai and Delhi to Jamnagar. In addition to Ambani’s private jets, guests’ private jets will also shuttle between airports. Flights are scheduled between 8 am to 1 pm on Friday (March 1) from either of these two airports.

To manage the movement, at least 1,000 cars, including super-premium and convoy cars for VVIPs, will be stationed at Jamnagar Airport on Friday morning. Fifty luxury buses meeting specifications and 150 electric golf cars will facilitate guest movements.

To ensure smooth traffic flow along the 20-km route between the airport and the venue, the number of traffic police personnel has been increased. DeshGujarat
