He is from Halvad taluka or Morbi district. He is the face of Chuvaliya Koli community. He is associated with mass wedding functions of Koli community. He also is associated with felicitation functions of bright students of the community. With this the party has dropped Dr. Mahendra Munjapara, the current Lok Sabha MP from this seat who also hails from the same Chuvaliya Koli community. DeshGujarat
