ACB traps 3 cops for taking bribes from commuters on SP Ring Road

Ahmedabad: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat nabbed three cops in a bribe case in the Vatva area of Ahmedabad through a decoy trap. According to ACB, it received information that police officials, staffers, GRD, TRB jawans, and middlemen were taking money in a range of Rs. 200 to Rs. 5,000 from commuters in Ahmedabad city and Surendranagar district areas and causing harassment to commuters. ACB executed a trap by roping in a decoyer and nabbed Baldev Chunara, Home Guard jawan of Vatva police station, Navinchandra Damor, and Ashwinkumar Balat, both working with Vatva police station as constable and driver respectively after Baldev Chunara demanded and received Rs. 200 bribe from a decoyer.
