4.50 lakh apply for PSI recruitment, 9.83 lakh for LRD: IPS Hasmukh Patel

Gandhinagar: Police Recruitment Board Chief IPS Hasmukh Patel today informed that the board has received around 4.50 lakh applications for the recruitment of Police Sub Inspectors(PSIs), and 9.83 lakh applications for recruitment of Lok Rakshak Dal Jawans.
‘The period of application was 4-30 April, while the last day of paying fees was 7 May. Due to upcoming seasons of Summer and Monsoon, we have decided to conduct a physical test after Monsoon, and therefore more applications will be accepted in the upcoming August-September period,’ IPS Hasmukh Patel said.
‘There was a question among youths, whether they can apply if they pass graduation or class 12 exam this year. They should be assured that in the next period of making applications in September this year, , all those eligible at that time will be allowed to file applications,’ IPS Hasmukh Patel added.
Patel said -the board plans to conclude the process on 15 September as of now. He further said that physical tests could be taken in October-November this year. DeshGujarat
