Bharuch Police nab one for attacking Jain lady monks

Bharuch: Bharuch Police have nabbed one Altaf Hussain Sheikh for thrashing and beating up Jain lady monks who were walking on Tham – Derol highway. Altaf chased and thrashed the Jain monks very brutally. Altaf used his belt to attack the Jain monks. A person who intervened and stopped Altaf was also beaten up. DeshGujarat
Jain monks were on way from Shrimali Jain temple in Bharuch to Derol. There wee six lady Jain monks in
this group. They were first chased by the accused and later attacked with belt.
The incident took place 11 km away from Bharuch near Derol patiya. The accused had started chasing Jain lady monks from Muhammadpura and shouted against them in attempt to fear them. As per their religous practice, a male can’t touch the Jain lady monk, and therefore the lad monks repeatedly requested not to touch them.

Jain lady monks were not just attacked with belt but were also kicked by the accused. Fortunately Keslu village based Satishbhai Rathod watched this, nabbed the attacker and called Bharuch taluka police. However the accused jumped on a tempo vehicle and escaped the place. Satishbhai who is husband of Amod taluka panchayat member, spotted the accused near Vagra chokdi and nabbed him with the help of Police. DeshGujarat
