Which areas of Gujarat are likely to get rain in next 7 days? Here is IMD forecast

Ahmedabad: The state of Gujarat seems to be experiencing a little respite from the heat as pre-monsoon activity has brought light rain to parts of the state. Isolated places in the south Gujarat region, especially Valsad district, witnessed some rain in the past 24 hours. Additionally, there is a forecast of light rain in several parts of the state over the next 7 days.

According to the latest bulletin by the Indian Meteorological Department, “Light rain/thundershowers are very likely at isolated places in the districts namely Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli,” today.

On June 7th, “Light rain/thundershowers are very likely at isolated places in the districts of the Gujarat region, namely Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.”

On June 8th, “Light rain/thundershowers are very likely at isolated places in the districts of the Gujarat region, namely Panchmahal, Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath and in Diu.”

On June 9th, “Light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at a few places in all the districts of South Gujarat region and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, and Mahisagar. Light rain/thundershowers are very likely at isolated places in the districts of Saurashtra namely Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, and in Diu.”

On June 10th, “Light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at a few places in all the districts of South Gujarat region and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, and Mahisagar. Light rain/thundershowers are very likely at isolated places in the districts of Saurashtra namely Rajkot, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Botad, and in Diu.”
