Illegal Dargah on Govt kharaba land removed in Ranjitsagar dam area of Jamnagar

Jamnagar: An illegally built Dargah, titled ‘Panjupir ni Dargah’ by some Muslims, was demolished in the Ranjitsagar dam area by a team from the Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC).
Around 12,000 to 15,000 square feet of government land was recovered by the Estate branch of JMC thanks to this action.
The location of the Dargah was Harshadpur in Jamnagar Taluka. The Magistrate had, in his 16 September 2022 order, asked for the removal of this Dargah structure.
Rural DySP Rajendra Devdha, Local Crime Branch, Special Operation Group, Panchkoshi B division police officials, and police jawans cordoned off the Dargah area and deployed force in Harshadpur, Mokhana na Dadiya ahead of the demolition of the illegal structure which was occupying 1,750 square meters of government Kharaba land.
