Amit Shah inaugurates Amin PJKP Vidhyarthi Bhavan and SLiMS Hospital in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah inaugurated the Amin PJKP Vidhyarthi Bhavan and the modern multispecialty SLiMS Hospital in Ahmedabad today. The event saw the presence of several dignitaries, including Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel.

Earlier in the day, Shri Amit Shah performed Mangala Aarti at the Sri Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad. He extended heartfelt wishes to the countrymen on the occasion of Mahaprabhu Jagannath Ji’s Rath Yatra, emphasizing the cultural significance of the festival.

Shri Amit Shah also inaugurated the modern multispecialty SLiMS Hospital in Ahmedabad.

Centenary Celebration of Amin PJKP Vidhyarthi Bhavan

Amit Shah highlighted the importance of Amin PJKP Vidhyarthi Bhavan, which has been serving the community for 92 years. He noted that the institution’s longevity is a testament to the support it has received from society. The hostel has educated thousands of children and produced many prominent personalities who have contributed to the development of Gujarat and the country. He encouraged students to face life’s challenges with determination and positivity.

Amit Shah remarked on the historical significance of the location, noting that Sardar Patel had once spent his days there and held many meetings during the freedom movement. He urged students to remember the contributions of great personalities and to live for the country, possessing a lifelong passion for national service.

Development and Contributions of the Patel Community

Amit Shah spoke about the contributions of the Kadva Patel community to the development of Gujarat. He noted that the development trajectories of Gujarat and the Patel community have progressed in parallel. The Patel community, known for its hard work, education, business acumen, and unity, has significantly advanced both itself and the state of Gujarat. He emphasized the importance of choosing a path that benefits both oneself and society.

Future Prospects for Students

Amit Shah announced that around 1,000 students would study at Amin PJKP Vidhyarthi Bhavan for higher education. This facility will particularly benefit students from areas lacking higher education opportunities, thereby enlightening their lives. He advised students to set goals and work hard to achieve them without resorting to shortcuts, stressing the value of perseverance and dedication.

Amit Shah concluded by stating that today’s generation does not need to sacrifice their lives for the country but should live for the country, maintaining a passion for national service throughout their lives.
