Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Transport Department has revised the passing criteria for online learning license exams. Candidates now need to answer only 9 out of 15 questions correctly, compared to the previous requirement of 11 correct answers.

Previously, candidates had to score 11 correct answers out of 15 to pass the online learning license exam. The decision to lower the passing criteria comes in response to feedback received at the commissioner’s office, highlighting difficulties faced by candidates, particularly those with less formal education.

According to a spokesperson from the Regional Transport Office (RTO), the online learning license exam often posed challenges for candidates who were otherwise capable drivers. The exam is designed to ensure candidates possess basic driving knowledge and skills.

This change aims to help people with less education or who can’t read well get a learning license by showing their driving skills during the driving test. DeshGujarat
