Police man decoy trapped by Gujarat ACB in Ahmedabad for bribery

Ahmedabad: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat today trapped a police head constable for bribery at Kalupur railway station.
According to ACB, it had received information that police men collect Rs. 500 to Rs. 1500 bribe for not issuing memo to vehicle riders over violations of traffic rules such as driving license, PUC, helmet, wrong side driving, no parking etc.
Accordingly the ACB laid a decoy trap at Kalupur railway station. The accused police head constable of ‘E’ traffic police station at Kalupur railway station, Ashok Patni was nabbed for seeking and collecting Rs. 300 to Rs. 500 bribe for not issuing memo over no-parking.
Patni was detained as soon as he received bribe in a trap arranged by ACB. DeshGujarat
