Surat SOG nabs 16 bogus doctors practicing without medical degrees

Surat: The Special Operation Group of the city police today nabbed 16 bogus doctors in the city who were practicing medicine without valid degrees. The police also seized a stash of medicines from the clinic of these fake doctors.
In a drive against the fake doctors, four separate SOG teams conducted operations in multiple areas of the city. During the operation, the SOG caught 9 doctors from the Pandesara area and 7 doctors from the Dindoli area. These bogus doctors were practicing as physicians without having any valid medical degrees or licenses. During the raid, the police found lines of patients, and these doctors were treating them like professional doctors while charging Rs. 100 to 200. Police complaints are being registered against these bogus doctors.
After receiving information that several bogus doctors were operating in the slum areas of the city, the Surat city SOG launched this operation to catch those who were treating patients in fraudulent clinics. DeshGujarat
