Gujarat govt allows employees to travel in Vande Bharat Express train under LTC/Vatan Pravas scheme

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has announced its decision to approve travel in Vande Bharat Express train for the State government employees for the purpose of holiday and journey to hometown undee the Leave Travel Concession(LTC) scheme.
Gujarat government employees get LTC/Vatan pravas benefits for upto 6,000 km every fourth year. The employees travel by trains also for such journeys. The employees had made representation before the State government to allow travel in Vande Bharat trains under the LTC/Vatan pravas scheme.
The State government has in response, included travel in Vande Bharat express train from LTC block 2020-23 for ‘Raja pravas rahat'(holiday travel relief). Five lakh employees of the State government will benefit from this decision. DeshGujarat
