Gandhinagar: Minister of State and Surat MLA Harsh Sanghavi’s father Rameshbhai Sanghavi(72) passed away after prolonged illness.

Rameshbhai Bhuralal Sanghvi, who had been undergoing treatment at Unique Hospital in Surat for the past three days, passed away this afternoon. He was admitted to the ICU as his condition deteriorated over the last few days.

He was well-known in the Jain community for his involvement in the diamond industry and various charitable organizations. The last rites are scheduled to be held at Umra Smashan Ghat at 5 PM today.

Late Rameshbhai (Juna Deesawala) is survived by wife Devindraben, son Harsh, daughters Kinjalben Sheth, Kajalben Shah, Nehalben Jain and Heniben Sanghavi.

UPDATE: Besnu (prayer meeting) is organized at Indoor stadium in Surat on Sunday during 3 pm to 5 pm.

Prayer meeting at Gandhinagar is held at Ministerial residence complex based community hall in Gandhnagar on Tuesday, 20 August during 5 to 7 pm.
