Madresa staffer held for sexual abuse of a 9-year old student girl

Surat: Athwa Lines police have arrested Sube Khan Pathan from Rehmatpura, Raduarpura, for sexually abusing a 9-year-old madrasa student in Radarpura-based Vaji Madrasa. Pathan, who works as a sweeper/helper at the madrasa, was apprehended following a complaint lodged by the parents of the victim. According to the complaint, Pathan called the girl outside the classroom and sexually abused her. When the girl returned home, she told her parents, “Subekha Pathan chacha to bahot gande hai” (Subekha Pathan uncle is very dirty).
