Timings of Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express changed from today

Ahmedabad: In a major change, Western Railway has revised the timings of Train No. 22961 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express, effective today.
According to a press release issued by Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the changes have been made for operational reasons, effective from 24th August 2024.
As per the revised timings, the Vande Bharat Express will depart from Mumbai Central at 15:45 hours instead of 15:55, resulting in a 10-minute earlier departure starting August 24. The train will halt at Borivali in Mumbai from 16:10 to 16:13 instead of the current 16:20 to 16:23. Similarly, the timings for halts at Vapi, Surat, and Vadodara stations have also changed by up to five minutes. The train will arrive at Ahmedabad railway station at 21:15 instead of 21:25.
