GSRTC announces its plan for ST bus operations at Ambaji Bhadarvi Poonam Fair 2024

Ambaji: The Gujarat government arm, Gujarat State Road Transprot Corporation(GSRTC) has announced its plans to operate the buses during the Bhadarvi Poonam fair at Ambani in North Gujarat during 12 to 18 September. GSRTC has in its plan announced it will set up 10 temporary booths and opeerate 1100 buses to serve the pilgrims participating in the fair.

GSRTC has made ac oordianting committee of four officials to finalize the plan which include deployment of sufficient number of buses, temporary passenger shades, queue arrangement, drinking water, urinals, mic/annoucement system to guide the passengers, craine and mechanic gang deployment, ambulance arrangement, fire fighter deployment at depot, banner and hoardings for instruction and information to passengers, GSRTC help centres at various important places and required literature there, appointments of booth incharges, coordination of passengers, pilgrims, groups(Sangh) via Whatsapp, GPS system equipped control room and monitoring setup, parking kitchen, operation, security, coordination DCC, tents, mechanical works, staff allocation.

GSRTC has also released a map to guide the pilgrims about where they can board the bus for their destination.
