They will take Lalbaugcha Raja to Gujarat: Raut continues his rant regarding neighboring state

Mumbai: In another attempt to pitch Maharashtra against Gujarat, Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut today remarked that while Amit Shah was visiting Lalbaugcha Raja, a prominent site for the Ganesh festival, he was actually taking attention away from Mumbai.

Talking about the donation of a gold crown worth 17 crores to Lalbaugcha Raja, Raut said, “The dignity of God does not rise due to the offerings of devotees; God remains God, irrespective of gifts.” He further claimed that the BJP’s actions are harming Mumbai’s status and resources, alleging, HM Amit Shah and PM Modi have taken everything to Gujarat. Raut expressed worry that the BJP might even consider relocating the Ganesh festival to Gujarat, stating, “This time when Amit Shah came, people were afraid that he would take the festival of our King of Lalbagh to Gujarat. He can do anything.”

He emphasized Mumbai’s significance to Maharashtra, saying, “The King of Lalbagh represents the pride of Mumbai and Maharashtra. Our bond with him is unbreakable, yet the BJP’s business agenda could disrupt this.” DeshGujarat
