Prabhas Patan: Shri Somnath Trust has started a free tiffin service from this week for the patients at the civil hospital and the relatives of the patients.

The tiffin service will be offered to the patients of the civil hospital in Veraval and one family person of each patient. The service will operate daily for both meal times.

The service was inaugurated by Trustee JD Parmar, district collector Digvijaysinh Jadeja among others and it runs in coordination with the civil hospital management. The meals will be readied in Shri Somnath Trust’s bhojan prasad gruh and packed in the leak-proof containers.

Shri Somnath Trust has distributed artificial organs to 500 handicapped persons. so far The trust has donated an oxygen plant during the covid-19 pandemic. Shri Somnath Trust’s Lilavati guest house functioned as quarantine centre for months during the pandemic. Eye care camp and other health camps are held by the trust for number of times. DeshGujarat
