Gandhinagar: Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Gujarat headquarters Dr. Vanikar Smarak Bhavan will be reconstructed. Bhoomi pujan for the same was held at the hands of the Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi on Geeta Jayanti day in presence of International President, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Alok Kumarji, RSS Western region senior office bearers, saints among others.

The VHP Gujarat headquarters is located in Paldi area of Karnavati Mahanagar. Rs. 10 crore reconstruction will result into a 28,000 square ft complex in 711 vaar plot with basement parking. The new building will have e-library, headquarters, offices for various wings, auditorium, conference room, bhojanalay, solar panels, rain water storage system, underground tank etc. The new building is likely to be readied in 3 years period.
