Vikrant Pandey appointed Gujarat’s resident commissioner

Gandhinagar: IAS Vikrant Pandey, previously serving as the director in the Inter-State Council Secretariat under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi, since 2019, has been appointed as the Resident Commissioner of the Gujarat government in New Delhi. The Union government relieved Pandey of his duties two weeks ago, allowing him to return to state government service.
On Wednesday, the Gujarat government issued a notification confirming Pandey’s appointment while relieving Arti Kanwar, Secretary of the Finance Department (Economic Affairs), from the additional charge of the post. Pandey has also served as the district collector of Ahmedabad before moving to Delhi in 2019. DeshGujarat
