6-year old Gujarati child dies due to opening of airbag in car

Mumbai: A 6-year old child of Gujarati family in Mumbai died after he was hit and suffocated by airbag of the car. Mumbai’s Vashi sector-15 based Mavjibhai Arethiya was out in car with his son Harsh and two other children at around 11 pm. A 6-year old Harsh was sitting next to the driver’s seat. When on way to Koparkhaine, at Blue Diamond chowk, Arethiya’s Wagon R car was hit by other car, following which both airbags on frontal seats got inflated. An airbag hit Harsh’s throat, following which he died, possibly due to suffocation. DeshGujarat
