Shiv Bhakt On Foot Yatra To All 12 Jyotirlingas Arrives In Gujarat

Godhra: A Delhi-based Shiva devotee, Mukesh Kumar, who embarked on a pilgrimage from Gangotri to the 12 Jyotirlingas on foot, arrived in Godhra, Gujarat, after covering around 3,000 kilometers of his 11,000-kilometer journey. He passed through Gujarat on his way to Ujjain.

Concerned about the influence of Western culture on India’s youth, the habit of giving mobile phones to children instead of imparting spiritual values, and the increasing number of old-age homes, this 54-year-old devotee has undertaken an ambitious 11,000-kilometer pilgrimage. Mukesh Kumar was greeted with chants of “Har Har Mahadev” upon reaching Godhra and aims to complete this spiritual journey in around 1.5 years, culminating at Gangotri.

Mukesh Kumar, a farmer from Delhi, started his pilgrimage 102 days ago with the Indian national flag and a Mahadev banner, spreading the message of preserving Sanatan culture. He has already visited three Jyotirlingas and is now heading to Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh after passing through Gujarat. Despite harsh winters and other challenges, he covers over 35 kilometers daily.

Mukesh Kumar, who avoids any form of addiction and refrains from consuming garlic and onions, carries Gangajal from Gangotri for the Abhishek rituals during his pilgrimage. DeshGujarat
