Gujarat High Court rejects plea against proposed airport at Dahod

Dahod: The Gujarat High Court has rejected the plea against proposed airport at Dahod.

Villagers in five villages of Zalod Taluka have expressed opposition to the land survey conducted for the proposed Green Field Airport in Dahod. The survey, carried out by the authorities with police assistance, has fueled fears among the farmers of losing their land.

The farmers had previously protested against the project at the local level. Subsequently, they approached the High Court, seeking relief. However, the High Court dismissed their petition, citing the absence of any official notices or notifications regarding land acquisition. The farmers are demanding land in exchange of land if the project come to the stage of land acquisition.
