Tulip flowers bloom for the first time in Ahmedabad; here’s where you can visit them
January 31, 2025
Ahmedabad: In an exciting development for flower enthusiasts and nature lovers in Ahmedabad, the Tulip flowers have bloomed for the first time at the Glow Garden in Flower Park located at the Sabarmati Riverfront. This floral display is the result of 1000 Tulip bulbs gifted by the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Delhi, Vinai Kumar Saxena, to the Amdavad Municipal Corporation.
Tulips are traditionally known to thrive in cold climatic conditions, particularly in regions like Kashmir and Delhi. However, with dedicated care and the right environmental conditions, these Tulip bulbs have flourished in Ahmedabad, marking a significant milestone in the city’s horticultural achievements.
Visitors to the Glow Garden at the Flower Park can now experience a stunning variety of Tulips in vibrant colors including orange, red, white, and yellow. This newly introduced floral extravaganza brings the beauty of Tulip flowers to the citizens of Ahmedabad, allowing them to enjoy a colorful spectacle right at their doorstep.
The Amdavad Municipal Corporation has invited the citizens and tourists alike to visit the park and enjoy this incredible floral display as the Tulips are expected to remain in bloom for a limited period. DeshGujarat
