Girnar ropeway service temporarily halted due to strong winds

Junagadh: The ropeway service at Girnar Hills in Junagadh has been temporarily halted due to strong winds affecting the area. Keeping passenger safety in mind, the ropeway service will resume when the wind speed returns to normal.
The ropeway services are operated by Usha Breco Company. Kulbirsingh Bedi, Resident Manager of the Ropeway in Junagadh, stated that the service is currently closed due to strong winds. People who had made advance bookings have been notified of the suspension.
The ropeway serves thousands of devotees visiting Ambaji Temple atop the hill daily, but due to the adverse weather conditions, the service has been put on hold, forcing devotees to either climb the hill using stairs or return home. DeshGujarat
