Ahmedabad: According to sources the Passport Seva Kendra(PSK) in Mithakhali area of city will be shut due to space constraint and lack of parking facility. Another passport centre at Vijay Char rasta which is located just 3 kms away will continue to function.

In place of Mithakhali based passport seva kendra, a new passport seva kendra will come up at White House in Bapunagar area of city later this year, with largest 1500 applicants per day capacity against Mithakhali based centre’s 800 applicants/day facility. Bapunagar based PSK will be geographically closer to eastern areas of Ahmedabad city, Central Gujarat and portion of Northern Gujarat areas. DeshGujarat
