New Textbooks of Gujarat Board to replace current ones from Academic Year 2025-26

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Rajya Shala Pathyapustak Mandal has announced its decision to change certain textbooks with effect from the new academic year which is starting from June 2025-26 in accordance with the new education policy.
The new text books to be in circulation include English (2nd language of class 6, Gujarati first lanaguage of class 8 and class 1, Gujarati 2nd language of class 1, Marathi first language of class 7, Maths of class 8, Science of class 8, Economics(with added new chapter) of class 12, Sanskrutam – 1 and 2, Maths, Science, Social science and Sarvangi shikshan of class 7 for Sanskrit medium.
Pathyapustak Mandal is expected to make these books available on its website in digital format eventually. At present the links presented below on Mandal’s website shows currently available books available in digital format.
