Unseasonal rain lashes Bhavnagar

Bhavnagar: Over the past few days, people across Saurashtra and the rest of Gujarat had been reeling under scorching heat, with temperatures seeming to pour fire from the sky. However, today the people of Bhavnagar got some relief from this heat as the weather suddenly changed and cool winds started blowing. Within a short time, unseasonal rain, along with thunder and lightning, lashed several areas.

During this time, power supply was also disrupted in some regions. Last night, strong winds were also reported in parts of Bhavnagar. On one hand, the unexpected rain in peak summer brought much-needed relief to residents suffering from the intense heat. On the other hand, farmers are now worried about potential damage to their summer crops. DeshGujarat
