Surat Rural Police issues advisory amid closures of Tapi River bridges on NH-48

Surat: The Surat Rural Police has issued a public advisory informing commuters about traffic diversions on National Highway No. 48 due to ongoing repair work on the overbridge over the Tapi River near Kholvad village.
Vehicles traveling from Ahmedabad towards Surat, Palsana, Sachin, Bardoli, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, Dhule, and Mumbai are being diverted via the newly constructed express highway from Naninaroli (Latitude: 21.417417, Longitude: 72.965922).
For vehicles heading towards Surat city, alternative routes are available via Kim Charrasta and the road adjacent to Raj Hotel towards Hazira. However, the road leading from Raj Hotel to Kamrej via the bridge has been completely closed.
