Gir: EIH (East India Hotels) Limited, the flagship hospitality arm of the Oberoi Group, has announced plans to expand its portfolio with four new hotel projects across India, including a luxury property in Gujarat.

These upcoming hotels will be operated under management contracts, aligning with the company’s broader growth strategy. The announcement was made during the company’s 75th Annual General Meeting held in New Delhi.

In Gujarat, the company will develop The Oberoi Gir, a 20-key luxury wildlife retreat located near the renowned Gir National Park — home to the Asiatic lions. The project is a significant addition to the state’s high-end tourism offerings.

Highlighting its focus on high-potential destinations, EIH Limited stated that the new developments in Gujarat, Goa, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad are aimed at strengthening its presence in both leisure and urban markets through its Oberoi and Trident brands.
