Ahmedabad city declared No-Drone Fly Zone for PM Modi’s visit on Aug 25–26

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Ahmedabad on August 25–26, 2025. Ahead of his visit, the Ahmedabad Police Commissioner has issued an official notification declaring a “No-Drone Fly Zone” across all areas of the city.
The restriction will be in effect from 14:00 hrs on August 25 to 17:00 hrs on August 26, 2025. During this period, the operation of remotely controlled drones, quadcopters, powered aircraft, manned microlight aircraft, hang gliders/paragliders, para-motors, hot air balloons, and para-jumping will be strictly prohibited.
The ban does not apply to police and security forces, who are permitted to use these devices as required. The order covers the entire jurisdiction of the Ahmedabad City Police Commissionerate. Any violation will attract punishment under Section 223 of the Indian Penal Code-2023.
All officers from Joint/Deputy Police Commissioner down to PSI are authorized to register complaints against violators. DeshGujarat
