German gases major Linde plans new plant in Dholera, Gujarat

New Delhi: German industrial gases supplier Linde is in final stages of planning for setting up a new plant in Dholera, as it aims of partnering with major electronics companies to support the semiconductor ecosystem developing in the region, a news report said.
Linde, which operates more than 1,000 plants globally, supplies specialty gases and customised support to the semiconductor, solar, and display sectors. “We are investing early to meet the requirements of upcoming electronics projects in Dholera,” Company’s deputy business head for South Asia, Milan Sadhukhan, told ET
The company said it is well-positioned to cater to India’s upcoming fabs due to its strong domestic presence and a robust global supply chain already qualified for fabs in Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, and the US.
