Virpur marks 226th Jalaram Jayanti

Virpur: The famous pilgrimage town of Virpur near Rajkot in Saurashtra witnessed grand celebrations today as thousands of devotees gathered to mark the 226th birth anniversary of Saint Jalaram Bapa with deep devotion and spiritual fervor.
The day began early with Mangala Aarti, followed by a series of religious events including puja-archana (ritual worship), bhajan-kirtan (devotional singing), and distribution of prasad.
Chants of “Jalaram Bapa ni Jai” echoed across the temple town as devotees from various parts of Gujarat and other states thronged Virpur to seek blessings. The streets were packed with pilgrims entering the shrine amid an atmosphere filled with faith and festivity.
The birthplace and temple of Jalaram Bapa were beautifully decorated with flowers, and a grand community feast (langar) was organized where thousands of devotees partook in the traditional khichdi and meal served as prasad.
To ensure smooth arrangements, several voluntary and service organizations provided facilities like drinking water, resting areas, and medical assistance for the pilgrims. The entire town of Virpur wore a festive look, resonating with devotion and the spiritual energy of the occasion. DeshGujarat
