November 01, 2025
Jodhpur: The Sabarmati–Jodhpur Vande Bharat Express will depart one hour later than its scheduled time for five trips between November 6 and 10, due to maintenance work on the Ajmer–Palanpur railway section.
According to Jodhpur Division Senior DCM Vikas Kheda, the delay is due to a block taken between Falna station yard for foot overbridge (FOB) girder launching work under Ajmer Division. As a result, train number 12462 Sabarmati–Jodhpur Vande Bharat Express will leave Sabarmati one hour behind its regular schedule during this period.
The railway administration said the engineering work is essential for track safety and infrastructure maintenance, and the temporary schedule adjustment has been made accordingly. Passengers have been advised to plan their journeys considering the revised departure time. DeshGujarat
