November 15, 2025
Surat: The schedule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ongoing visit to his home state of Gujarat has been slightly revised. As per the new schedule, before returning to Delhi from Surat Airport, the Prime Minister will meet and greet the Bihar residents living in Surat, who wanted to congratulate him on the landslide win of the NDA in the Bihar Assembly polls.
Union Minister and Navsari Lok Sabha MP C.R. Patil informed the media about the change in the Prime Minister’s schedule, saying, “PM Modi has come to Surat after the massive victory in Bihar. He will first review the Surat Bullet Train station and then proceed to Narmada to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda. Later, at around 4 pm, he will return to Surat airport before leaving for the national capital. The people of Bihar living in Surat and South Gujarat wanted to felicitate the Prime Minister. I, along with Deputy CM Harsh Sanghvi, informed him about this request, and he has kindly agreed to come out of the airport to meet them. Around 15,000 to 20,000 people are expected to greet him.” DeshGujarat
