Surat: In response to the surge in passport applications during April 2026, the Regional Passport Office (RPO) Surat is holding a special drive at the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) at Udhna Darwaja in Surat today.

According to an official press release, appointment slots for normal passport services on Saturday are now open on the Passport Seva Portal. Applicants who already have appointments on a later date, as well as those who missed their earlier slots, will be allowed to reschedule for the special drive.

Authorities have advised applicants to regularly check the official website, www.passportindia.gov.in, for booking appointments and to ensure they carry all required documents to facilitate a smooth and hassle-free process at the PSK.

The special drive is part of an initiative by the Ministry of External Affairs to provide passport appointments to citizens at the earliest possible date and address the growing demand for passport-related services. DeshGujarat
