Ahmedabad: As part of the special drive being conducted by the Regional Passport Office, Ahmedabad, under the Ministry of External Affairs’ initiative to reduce the waiting period for passport appointments, the following Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) will remain open on Saturday, July 18, 2026, to accept passport applications under the ‘Normal’ category:

i. PSK Bapunagar, Ahmedabad
ii. PSK Vijay Cross Road, Ahmedabad
iii. PSK Vadodara
iv. PSK Rajkot

Appointment slots for the aforesaid special drive are being released shortly and will remain available until fully booked. Applicants can book fresh appointments or reschedule their existing appointments for submission of passport applications under the ‘Normal’ category.

How to book appointments for the Special Drive:

i. Visit the Passport India website (https://www.passportindia.gov.in/) and submit an application under the ‘Normal’ category, then make the payment of the application fee online.

ii. Thereafter, log in again to https://www.passportindia.gov.in/ to verify the status of the payment. Once done, go to the ‘Scheduled Appointment’ page, select the location for the respective PSK, and book the appointment.

Applicants are advised to bring all the necessary original documents along with one set of self-attested copies while submitting passport applications at the PSK.
