BJP appoints Arun Binnadi as State Joint General Secretary (Organisation)

Ahmedabad: A day after announcing in-charges and co-in-charges for various states and Union Territories (UTs), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday appointed state general secretaries (Organisation), state joint general secretaries (Organisation) and other organisational functionaries across states and UTs with immediate effect.

The party has retained Ratnakar as the State General Secretary (Organisation) for Gujarat while also giving him the responsibility of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, with Ahmedabad as his centre. Arun Binnadi has been appointed State Joint General Secretary (Organisation) for Gujarat, with Rajkot as his centre, from where he will oversee the Saurashtra region.

The ruling party has also appointed Satish Dhond as State Joint General Secretary (Organisation) for Maharashtra. He has also been given responsibility for Janjati Sampark covering Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, with Nagpur as his centre.

Among other appointments, Bhikhubhai Dalsaniya has been appointed State General Secretary (Organisation) for Bihar, Pawan Sai for Jharkhand, Siddharthan for Himachal Pradesh, Phanindranath Sharma for Uttarakhand, Dharampal for Uttar Pradesh and Amitabh Chakraborty for West Bengal.
