Jio launches Anniversary Offer on JioBharat 4G phones at ₹1,499
October 01, 2026
Mumbai: Celebrating 10 years of connecting India, Jio has launched the special Jio Anniversary Offer on JioBharat, making it easier and more affordable than ever for millions of feature phone users to upgrade to digital life, a press release said.
Under the offer, eligible JioBharat 4G phones are available for ₹1,499 along with six months of complimentary recharge benefits, including 14GB of data every month and unlimited HD voice calling, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
A smarter upgrade for 2G users
For many 2G users, staying connected typically requires monthly recharges of around ₹199, resulting in an expenditure of nearly ₹1,200 over six months on connectivity alone.
With the Jio Anniversary Offer, customers receive a 4G-enabled JioBharat phone plus six months of connectivity benefits for ₹1,499. This effectively brings down the cost of upgrading from a 2G device to a feature-rich 4G digital phone to just ₹299. For little more than the cost of six months of basic connectivity, users can step into a richer digital experience powered by Jio’s nationwide 4G network, the company said.
As per the company, unlike traditional 2G feature phones that primarily offer calling and messaging, JioBharat opens the door to a complete digital ecosystem:
- Entertainment: Including access to 500+ TV channels through JioTV; live cricket, movies and entertainment on JioHotstar; and millions of songs and music content
- Digital Payments: UPI payments through JioPay as well as convenient payment alerts and Sound Box functionality
- Safety & Family Connectivity: Jio Safety Shield with safe-calling features; location-monitoring capabilities that help families stay connected
- Enhanced device experience: 2.4-inch display, 2000mAh battery along with fast and reliable 4G connectivity. DeshGujarat
