Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Suvendu Adhikari to be on Vadnagar Visit

Vadnagar: The concluding ceremony of the Varanasi-to-Vadnagar Seva Yatra will be held at 4 pm at Vadnagar. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari will attend the event as special guests.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, BJP Gujarat in-charge Tarun Chugh, BJP Gujarat president Jagdish Vishwakarma and Gujarat Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi will also be present, along with other leaders.

The ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ is being organised to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s completion of 25 years of uninterrupted public service.

October 7 marks 25 years since Modi entered the highest levels of elected public office, spanning his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat and subsequently as Prime Minister of India.

A key feature of the concluding ceremony will be a Jal-Abhishek of Lord Hatkeshwar Mahadev at the ancient Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple in Vadnagar. Sacred water collected from the Ganga and other rivers and water bodies during the journey will be used for the ritual. Prayers will also be offered for the long life of Prime Minister Modi.

The Varanasi-to-Vadnagar rally comprises 500 participants travelling on 250 motorcycles. The participants carried holy water from the Ganga and collected water from rivers and water bodies at different locations along the route before bringing it to Vadnagar.

The campaign also features a Vadnagar-to-Varanasi bike journey involving another 500 participants travelling on 250 motorcycles. This journey is scheduled to reach Varanasi on October 7 as well.

The two rallies were organised as part of the BJP’s Seva Sankalp Abhiyan to highlight Modi’s 25 years of public service and his political journey from Gujarat to the national level.

During the journeys, participants conducted public outreach and service activities at various locations across different states. These included **Gram Sabhas, tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns and interactions with beneficiaries, women and senior citizens.

According to the Gujarat BJP Media Department, the programmes were also used to inform people about development projects and welfare schemes associated with the Modi government and to share the story of his 25 years in public life.

With both bike journeys reaching their respective destinations on October 7, the BJP said the campaign would conclude by reaffirming its resolve to take the message of Modi’s public service and development initiatives to citizens across the country.
