PM Modi likely to visit Gujarat on October 30-31

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit his home state of Gujarat on October 30 and 31, with programmes scheduled in Deesa in North Gujarat and Kevadiya in the Narmada district.

Modi is expected to arrive in Deesa from New Delhi on the morning of October 30. He is likely to attend a programme organised by Banas Dairy and inaugurate the Banas Bovine Breeding and Research Center (BBBRC) in Bhildi. The centre has been built at an estimated cost of ₹328.77 crore on around 235 acres of land.

Following his engagements in Banaskantha district, the Prime Minister is expected to make a brief stop in Ahmedabad before proceeding to Kevadiya. He is likely to arrive there around 5 pm on October 30 and attend cultural programmes in the evening.

On October 31, Modi is expected to participate in the annual National Unity Day celebrations and preside over the Unity Day Parade at Kevadiya. The event commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India’s first deputy prime minister and home minister.

This year’s parade is expected to be organised on a larger scale, with approximately 10,000 police and paramilitary personnel likely to participate. Around 4,700 artistes from across the country are expected to present cultural performances showcasing India’s diversity. The programme will also feature an Indian Air Force flypast and performances by various bands.

After completing his engagements, the Prime Minister is expected to return to New Delhi via Vadodara.

The visit is expected to combine engagements related to the dairy sector in North Gujarat with the annual National Unity Day celebrations at the Statue of Unity complex in Kevadiya. DeshGujarat
