Road Closure at Nana Chiloda Junction; Traffic Diversions Announced

Ahmedabad: Traffic movement on the road near Nana Chiloda Junction, where the SP Ring Road intersects NH 48 on the route from Ahmedabad to Himmatnagar and Udaipur, has been temporarily disrupted due to ongoing construction work. The road has been completely closed at the junction, prompting Ahmedabad Traffic Police to issue alternative route instructions for commuters.

According to Naresh Kanzariya, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Ahmedabad Traffic Police (East), vehicles travelling towards Himmatnagar or Udaipur from Aslali (Old Ahmedabad-Vadodara Road) or National Expressway 1 should take a left turn at Nana Chiloda Junction, proceed approximately 1 km and take a U-turn before crossing the bridge to continue towards their destination.

Similarly, vehicles coming from Vaishno Devi Circle or Bhat Circle and heading towards Himmatnagar should proceed straight and take a U-turn beneath the Ranasan bridge. They should then take a left turn, followed by another U-turn, before crossing the bridge to continue towards Himmatnagar or Udaipur.

The traffic police have advised motorists to follow the designated diversions to ensure smooth vehicular movement and avoid inconvenience during the construction work. DeshGujarat
