Only digital payment to be accepted for RTO license fees, Ahmedabad BRTS ticket from 1st September

Gandhinagar: The government of Gujarat has today made announcement that all types of fees levied to obtain license from RTO will need to be paid only through online mode using the website parivahan.gov.in from 1st September onward. Applicants will need to arrive at RTO office after making online payment.
In another development, the Amdavad Municipal Corporation(AMC) has made announcement that tickets for Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) will be available only through digital payment modes such as Janmitra card, Janyatra mobile application and debit/credit cards with effect from 1st September. Tickets will not more be available through cash payment.
