Mass promotion for class 1 to class 9 and class 11 students; Board exams of class 10 and 12 postponed in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has taken a decision to postpone the Gujarat Board exams of class 10 and class 12. Both exams were to be conducted during 10-25 May. The decision to postpone the exams has been taken in view of current situation of Covid19 pandemic.
The State government said it will review the situation on 15th of May and announce the new dates of exams after that. The students will get at least 15 days period for preparations between the announcement of new schedule and start of exams.
The State government has also decided to grant mass promotion to the students of class 1 to 9 and class 11.
The government has also ordered suspension of offline teaching across the state in class 1 to 12 of schools. DeshGujarat
