PM Narendrabhai Modi to visit home-state Gujarat on October 30-31st

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi is expected to visit his home state of Gujarat on October 30 and 31.

On October 30, the Prime Minister is expected to take part in an event in Arathi village of Kheralu assembly seat, located in Mehsana district, but part of Patan Lok Sabha seat. On October 31, he will visit Ektanagar to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Sources suggest that during his visit to Kheralu, which is situated near his hometown Vadnagar, the Prime Minister is likely to lay the foundation stone for new projects and inaugurate completed ones. He is also expected to address a public gathering in the area. Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief CR Patil recently visited this area which comes under the Patan Lok Sabha constituency of North Gujarat to hold a meeting of party organization over preparations of the PM’s visit and public meeting.

On October 31, Prime Minister Modi’s itinerary includes a visit to Ektanagar (Kevadiya), the site of the Statue of Unity, which is the tallest statue in the world. Here, he will preside over an event to observe Ekta Divas, also known as National Unity Day, in commemoration of Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary.
