One nabbed at Ahmedabad airport for carrying 36 beer bottles

Ahmedabad: A 22-year old youth from Kanpur was held at Sardar Patel airport here on Monday evening with 36 bottles of beer, he was carrying in two boxes without permit. A Sub Inspector of CISF on duty at airport has filed complaint at Airport police station against the accused youth in this regard.
According to a complaint registered at Airport police station, a person came with decoration items at around 6.50 pm on Monday at security halt area at terminal-2 departure gate. He was carrying two boxes in which 36 liquor bottles were spotted during a check using a random scanner machine. The accused was identified as Kartavya Jain(22) from Kanpur. He had no permit for liquor. The brands of the bottles were Carlsberg premier and Bira-91 boom superior super strong. The total value of bottles was Rs. 5,880.
The accused has been nabbed under Prohibition Act sections 65AA, 116B. DeshGujarat
